The Wanderlust Residency — 2 Months · 4 Locations · Total Immersion
Take your PADI Divemaster training beyond the certification card. Where our standard Wanderlust program gives you the ultimate tour of Bali’s best dive sites, the Residency is built for those who want to truly live the life of a PADI Professional.
This two-month program combines the adventure of itinerant training across Bali with a hands-on operational internship at our 5-Star Career Development Center (CDC) in Sanur. You’ll spend Month 1 on the move — mastering different environments, dive types, and shore logistics across the island — then transition in Month 2 from student to professional trainee, integrating into the daily heartbeat of a high-volume dive operation under the direct mentorship of our Course Director.
You’ll finish not just with a qualification, but with the judgment, confidence, and real-world experience to step straight into a professional role — and, if you choose to go further, you’ll already be “home” for your Instructor Development Course.

Your training takes you across every major dive region in Bali, each chosen for the specific professional skills it builds.
- Pemuteran & Menjangan — Conservation and wall diving in protected national-park waters. Pristine reefs, dramatic drop-offs, and a focus on marine stewardship.
- Tulamben — Home of the USAT Liberty wreck. Wreck diving plus the real-world challenge of shore-entry logistics, gear handling, and managing dives from the beach.
- Nusa Lembongan — Drift diving and big-animal encounters in Bali’s most dynamic waters. Learn to read currents and guide in demanding conditions.
- Sanur (Residency Base) — Our 5-Star CDC headquarters, where the operational side of professional diving comes together: client management, briefings, equipment care, and the day-to-day running of a busy center.
Month 1 — The Expedition Phase
Follow the signature Wanderlust itinerary. No single classroom — you’re on the move, mastering different environments across Bali: conservation and wall diving in Pemuteran & Menjangan, wreck diving and shore logistics in Tulamben, and drift diving with big-animal encounters in Nusa Lembongan.
Month 2 — The Operational Residency (Sanur)
Based at our Sanur headquarters, you transition from student to professional trainee and integrate into the daily operation of a high-volume CDC under the mentorship of our Course Director.
- Lead with confidence — Gain hands-on experience as a Trainee Guide, eventually leading real clients under senior supervision to sharpen your underwater judgment.
- Instructional shadowing — Apply your pedagogical skills by assisting our instructors with real students during live courses.
- Master the business — Learn dive-center logistics, equipment care, and the safety briefings that define a 5-Star operation.
