The best way to learn how to make your specialty diver courses really special is to take a Specialty Instructor course from your local PADI Course Director. Specialty Instructor courses provide teaching tips and hands-on experience that you can implement right away.
With 26 standard PADI Specialty Diver courses, and numerous distinctive specialties, you have lots of choose from – so get going.
The MSDT package, usually done immediately after an IDC, includes 5 Specialties: 2 dry (Nitrox + Oxygen provider) and 3 more to choose from the available specialties list below.
PADI Instructor Specialties are priced as follows:
- “Dry” specialties – no dives required (Nitrox, O2 provider, …): 1.500.000 IDR per specialty
- Participant level 2-3 dives specialties > 1 dive Instructor Specialty Training: 2.000.000 IDR per specialty
- Participant level 4 dives specs > 2 dive Inst. Spec Training: 2.500.000 IDR per specialty
- Renewed PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors or higher
- PADI Assistant Instructors, instructor candidates in training, and PADI Divemasters are eligible to enroll in certain specialty instructor courses. Some specialties have additional prerequisites and exit requirements – ask our PADI Course Director for details.
- Certifications in 5 PADI Specialty Instructor Courses (for Master Scuba Diver Trainer Rating)
All PADI Instructors will benefit from taking Specialty Instructor training courses, especially those who are ready to step up to the Master Scuba Diver™ Trainer (MSDT) rating, which requires at least five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications from the list below:
