It’s our alternative dive training when you are looking for a more immersive local atmosphere in Bali

Pemuteran is a small coastal village located northwest of Bali. It takes 3 to 4 hours from Sanur to get there by road. You will find yourselves here in a more authentic, more rural Bali, far from the typical tourist development of other hubs on the island well known to travellers.

Its proximity to Java nevertheless offers a panorama that is particular with spectacular views of numerous volcanoes. You can feel far from everything there when the lack of comfort of the “south”, as the locals say when talking about the more developed part of Bali like Sanur, or the geographical remoteness is felt.

Basic needs are covered and there is however everything you need to live and explore a genuine Bali live. You go to Pemuteran to live an experience closer to nature, simple, calm and peaceful. You will live there to the rhythm of the sun, getting up and go to bed early. Non-diving activities are therefore limited.

Nearby is the island of Menjangan (= doe/deer) which is also a Marine Protected Area just like Nusa Penida. This unique area, unknown to the general public, offers a fascinating underwater world. Beautiful walls and rich coral reefs combined with warm water and generally good visibility make Menjangan an alternative and surprising diving destination.
